John leads Osborne Clarke’s international AI and machine learning team, and has just written a book on the legal implications of these new and innovative technologies.
He is currently advising a number of private sector and public sector clients on the use and implementation of machine learning systems, and recently advised a global software services company on the liability issues of deploying voice assisted AI within Europe.
John speaks and writes frequently on the topic of Artificial Intelligence. He is an advisory board member of the UK All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Article Intelligence; Chair of iTechLaw’s Responsible AI Committee and Co-Chair of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution’s Digital Transformation and Innovation Committee.
