OC Robotics is a world-leader in access technologies for confined and hazardous spaces. Their Snake-arm robots range from very small arms capable of working through <13mm diameter holes, to human scale arms capable of lifting up to 10kg with reaches exceeding 2 metres. Every snake-arm robot has a hollow centre, which enables cables and hoses to be routed to tools through the centre of the snake-arm, protecting the services to ensure they don’t snag.
OC Robotics is based in Filton, Bristol and has sold and operated systems globally.
The company is joining Invest Bristol & Bath, the inward investment arm of the West of England Combined Authority, to showcase the West of England’s strengths in Human Robotics Interaction. Invest Bristol & Bath is working closely with the Department of International Trade to promote the region’s opportunities for developing adaptable robotics that interact with the real world.
